The NA-701 is the NA-771's shorter sibling: an 8-inch flexible dual-band whip with an SMA-Female connector for Baofeng and BTECH radios. It trades a little range for a lot more portability.
Gain is the same modest 2.15 dBi class as the NA-771, but at roughly half the length it sits far better on a belt or in a pack. It is the pick when you want a real upgrade over the stock antenna without the NA-771's 15-inch wand.
