Overview

The MXT115P PRO is Midland's 2026 replacement for the discontinued MXT115, and Midland's own site now leads with it as the next generation of the MicroMobile line. It runs 15 watts, carries an IP67 waterproof rating per its Amazon listing, and sells for $219.99 at Midland (about $201 street on Amazon). It is genuinely new hardware: the original FCC grant from July 2025 covered only the 462 MHz main channels, and a permissive change granted in June 2026 is what added the 467 MHz repeater inputs, so early units in the wild may predate full repeater capability.

It is the right radio for buyers who wanted Midland's 15-watt tier with real weatherproofing for a trail rig. The trade-off is that it has no track record yet: reviews are limited to 16 ratings on Midland's own store (a 5.0 average, but a tiny sample). Midland's proven bestseller at this power level, the mic-controlled MXT275 around $180, remains the safer choice until the PRO has more owners behind it.
