Overview
This is an NMO magnetic base with 16.4 feet of RG58 coax already attached, so it takes any NMO antenna and needs no drilling, no wiring and no tools. The magnet is 90mm across and rates 30.8 pounds of vertical pull, which is enough to hold at highway speed, and a silicone cover under it keeps the paint intact when you move it between vehicles.
A mount does not radiate, so it has no gain and we do not score it. What it does is more valuable than gain: it puts the antenna on a metal roof, which buys you both height and a proper ground plane, and those are what actually decide how far you reach. Watts do not move your horizon; the roof does. The one requirement is steel. Aluminium and composite roofs defeat a magnet entirely, and on those you need a lip mount or a through-hole install instead.
