Overview
The X1 Pro is the newest radio in this category by some distance: its Part 95E grant was issued in June 2026, and it is unusually complete on paper, covering the 462 MHz mains and interstitials and the 467 MHz mains and interstitials. It is IP67 rated, which puts it in the same weather-sealed class as the Retevis HA1G at a step up in price and finish.
The caveat is the flip side of being new: there are only a couple of dozen owner ratings behind it so far, against hundreds or thousands for the established budget handhelds. The specification and the paperwork are genuinely strong. The track record does not exist yet, so if you would rather buy proven, the Retevis HA1G offers the same IP67 promise with far more owners behind it.
