Overview
Functionally this is the same idea as any NMO magnetic base: it accepts any NMO antenna, ships with 16.4 feet of RG58 coax terminated in a PL-259 plug, and mounts without drilling. The difference is footprint. At 150mm across it is a noticeably larger disc than the 90mm bases, spreading the same 30.8 pounds of pull over more area, with rubber over the magnet to protect paint.
The wider base is worth having under a long whip, where leverage at speed is what unseats a mount, and it is worth avoiding if you want something discreet. As with any mount, it has no gain and no bands, so we do not score it; its job is to give the antenna the roof, which is the part that actually extends your range. It needs a steel panel to work at all.
