The Baofeng DM32 10W is aimed at newly licensed operators wanting a first taste of DMR digital modes without committing serious money, and at budget-conscious hams who need a secondary handheld for a go-bag or loaner. It sits in a crowded sub-$65 bracket alongside other Baofeng DMR offerings, so expectations should be calibrated accordingly.
The headline capability here is dual-mode DMR and analog operation across VHF and UHF, which means you can hit both legacy repeaters and DMR talkgroups without carrying two radios. The 4000-channel memory is genuinely generous for the price point, and the built-in GPS feeding APRS functionality adds real utility for SOTA activators or simplex nets that use position reporting. Features score as middling overall, which reflects capable hardware held back by firmware and interface decisions that veterans will find frustrating.
No warranty is included, the radio is not water resistant, and TX power figures are absent from official documentation, which should give buyers pause. If you need a proven DMR workhorse for daily use, look elsewhere. If you want an inexpensive DMR experimenter radio and accept the tradeoffs, the DM32 10W is hard to argue with at this price.

Does more than my $120. Retevis. I like the USB C charging option. Mine came with (2) antennas and a plastic belt shell as well as a belt clip. CPS is a little unusual, but not too wierd.
Been putting off the purchase for a while based on negative reviews. The price and quality is a steal. Love this unit, well worth the money.
I don't use DMR much, but I do like to tinker with it. The radio works quite well, but in reality is only 7-8 watts, not 10. Took a couple of days to get the codeplug worked out and still had an issue with a couple of the repeaters I had entered. All showed proper, but it would not accept the CTCSS ...
